As used in this policy, the terms “using” and “processing” information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within the republic of Italy or internationally.
Information Collection and Use
3CMH collects information in order to provide and improve its Services, features and content, to administer Users’ membership and to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Site. Personal information can be also used in order to better understand how Services are used.
Personally Identifiable Information.
- In the course of using the Services, 3CMH asks the User to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify the User and administer his/her account (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, name, phone number, email address and home and business postal addresses. We use Personal Information mainly to provide the Services.
- 3CMH also collects other information provided as part of the use of the Services, including via registration, administration and personalization of profile webpage (e.g., zip code, gender, age and individual preferences) (“Non-Identifying Information”). Some Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining zip code with street address) in a way that enables the User to be identified. But the same information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other non-identifying information (for example, User’s viewing preferences). 3CMH may combine Personal Information with Non-Identifying Information and aggregate it with information collected from other Viblix Users to to provide Users with a better experience, to improve the quality and value of the Services and to analyze and understand how Services are used.
- 3CMH may also use Personal Information to contact Users with Viblix newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to the User. If the User decides at any time no longer to receive such communications, can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Surveys and Promotions. Occasionally, 3CMH may provide Users with the opportunity to participate in surveys or contests (any of these a “Promotion”) through our Services. If the User participates in a Promotion, 3CMH will request certain Personal Information from him/her, in order to administer the User’s participation in the Promotion. Participation in a Promotion is completely voluntary and the User therefore is able can decide whether or not to disclose this information.
Log Data. When a User use the Services, whether as a Viblix Member or a non-registered user just browsing, 3CMH’s servers automatically record information that his/her browser sends whenever he/she visits a website or uses a mobile app on a mobile device. (“Log Data”). This log data may include information such as User’s computer IP address, browser type or the domain from which he/she is visiting or information from the mobile device like screen resolution, device model, carrier and operating system version. 3CMH uses this information to monitor and analyze the use of the Services and for the Site’s technical administration. 3CMH does not treat Log Data as Personal Information or use it in association with other Personal Information, though it may aggregate, analyze and evaluate such information for the same purposes as stated above regarding other Non-Identifying Information.
Do Not Track. At the moment, there is no formal standard for “do not track” signals and responses. As a result, 3CMH does not assign any meaning to potential “do not track” signals. 3CMH may receive personally identifiable information about User’s activity on third party websites in certain circumstances, e.g., if the User connects his/her Viblix account to a social networking service (as below described). Moreover, other parties may collect personally identifiable information about User’s online activities and across third party websites or services when the User uses the Viblix website or service.
Like many websites, 3CMH uses “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file transferred to User’s computer for record-keeping purposes. Cookies can be “persistent” or “session” cookies. Persistent cookies remain on User’s computer, while session cookies are deleted as soon as the web browser closes.
3CMH may also use “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs” or similar means (individually or collectively “Pixel Tags”) in connection with its Services to collect usage, demographic and geographical location data. A Pixel Tag is an electronic image, often a single pixel that is ordinarily not visible to users and may be associated with cookies on a user’s hard drive.
Types of Cookies Used by Viblix
Necessary. These cookies assure the correct functioning of the Site and the Services and enable Users to use Services(e.g., certain cookies provide authorization to Services after authentication).
Performance and Analytics. Session ID cookies are used to better understand how Users interact with the Services and to monitor aggregate usage by Users and web traffic routing on the Services.
Functionality and Preferences. 3CMH utilizes session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Services, like broadcasting, managing subscriptions, and channel settings. 3CMH utilizes persistent cookies to save encrypted registration ID and login password for future logins to the Site as well as display preference settings.
Third Party Cookies
Third party advertisers on the Services may also place or read cookies on Users’ browser. 3CMH uses some Service Providers to provide advertising and analytics, and these entities may also place cookies on Users’ machine when they visit the Site (whether from a desktop or mobile device). Some of these Service Providers may also collect personally identifiable information
How Control Cookies
The user can instructs his/her browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt before accepting a cookie from the websites. However, if the User does not accept cookies, he/she may not be able to use all the sections of the Site or all functionalities of the Services.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Viblix Members. When a User registers through the Site and submit Personal Information to create a profile webpage, Users will see their user name (“Required Member Identifiers”). The User can choose what other Personal Information to provide as part of the profile (“Other Member Information”) and in some cases he/she can choose whether to share that information publicly on the Site by making selections on the “user preferences” section of the “your profile” webpage. Providing Other Member Information is totally voluntary and should be correlated with the degree of interaction the User wants to have with other Users. 3CMH recommends that the User watches over anonymity and sensitive information.
Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information. 3CMH may share aggregated information that includes certain portions of Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis and demographic profiling and to deliver targeted advertising about other products and services.
Service Providers. 3CMH may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on its behalf, to perform related services or to analyze how Services are used (each a “Service Provider”). The types of Service Providers used may include, without limitation, those that provide the following types of services: credit card processing, accounting, customer relationship management, website maintenance, notification services, database management and analytics. These third parties have access to Personal Information only to perform these tasks on behalf of 3CMH and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Third Party Advertising Companies. 3CMH may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on the Site and through the Services. These companies may use information about Users’ visits to the Site and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to Users.
Third Party Social Networking Services.
As a Viblix Member, the User can link his/her account information with certain social networking services (“SNSs”) and broadcast activities and other data to his/her friends. In these cases, depending on the “user preferences” set in Viblix account, with the his/her permission and on behalf of the User, 3CMH will share the information contained in Viblix account (e.g., Viblix profile page, channel page and any other information deemed public in any content created on the Site) with the SNS. 3CMH also receives some information (which may include Personal Information) in accordance with the privacy settings set in the SNS account, if any. 3CMH recommends Users to carefully read the privacy policies or statements of the other online services..
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. On request, 3CMH cooperates with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law. 3CMH will disclose any information about Users to government or law enforcement officials as it, in its sole discretion, believes necessary or appropriate to reply to claims and legal process, to protect the property and rights of 3CMH or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
Changing or Deleting Personal Information
All Members may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile by contacting 3CMH or using the profile page. If the User completely deletes all information, then his/her account may become deactivated. If the User would like 3CMH to delete his/her record in the system, please contact it and it will act as requested. See below for privacy contact information.
3CMH is very concerned with safeguarding information. 3CMH uses top-level physical, technological, and administrative security measures and attempts to ensure they are applicable under the circumstances. Anyway, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% risk-free.
3CMH will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of unencrypted electronically stored Personal Data to the User via email or posting on this Site in the fastest time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
Links to Other Sites
The Services contain links to other websites. If the User chooses to visit an advertiser by “clicking on” a banner ad or other type of advertisement, or click on another third-party link, he/she will be directed to that third party’s website. If any link of banner is on the Site, it does mean that 3CMH is giving any endorsement, authorization or representation of affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. 3CMH does not exercise control over third party websites.
Our Policy Toward Children
3CMH does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from people under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided 3CMH with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com
